Alusinasons is a transgressive ode to the world of partying and the imaginary that surrounds it: an installation-concert in which a character is taken over and swept along by delirious and caricatured alcoholic logic.

Frenetically caught up in the revelry, the artist splits into his alter ego, jaujeje, an amateur singer who takes the opportunity to present his first electronic music album, featuring humorous, metaphorical and slice-of-life songs.

The show quickly spirals into an imaginative and parodic “botellón” — a Spanish-style street drinking session — that collects and displays musical, object-based, linguistic, audiovisual, visual and performative jokes. An inventive experience in which the boundaries of stand-up comedy and the conventional concert spill over, revealing a style of humour that is innocent, uncertain and fragile. Fool whoever listens…

Jaume Clotet (1994) is an artist and performer working at the intersection of visual arts, live performance and comedy. He has exhibited in spaces including La Capella, etHALL and Habitación 34. His exhibition 20vingut (etHALL project space, 2020) received the GAC Award for Best Emerging Artist Exhibition. He has presented actions and performances at institutions including Fundació Joan Miró, Centre d’Arts Santa Mònica, CCCC in Valencia, Fundació Brossa, Centre d’Art Tecla Sala and M.A.C. in Mataró. His first stage work, Alusinasons (Antic Teatre, 2024), premiered at the Grec Festival 2024. He has been an artist-in-residence at Nau Estruch in Sabadell, within the Espai C and En Residència programmes, at Fabra i Coats, Konvent in Berga, Rad’Art (Italy) and BilbaoArte, among others. Since 2019, he has co-directed Cabaret Internet with Alicia Garrido, a performative and experimental comedy show that has reached 20 editions.
