Three actors invite the audience on a dreamlike journey aboard a miniature horse, among ambiguous apparitions and shadow men running towards their antipodes, a place that exists yet moves further away with every step. Through puppet manipulation and live music, movement guides us to the edges of a time when symbols replace words. The close-up nature of the performance and the simplicity of the set prepare the audience for a unique and surprising experience.

Antipodi brings together different visual theatre techniques: physical theatre, puppet manipulation, shadow theatre and music. A unique space designed for 30 people, inside a truck that has been transformed into a theatre.

This piece is part of the [L’A X L] programme, five days of shared programming by La Capsa and Teatre L’Artesà, featuring works that cross disciplines and formats. Winner of the Drac d’Or Award for Best Street Performance at the 2025 Lleida Puppet Fair.

Companyia Dromosofista (an invented word of Greek origin meaning wisdom of the street) was born from the encounter between two theatre families: the siblings Timoteo, Tommaso and Rugiada Grignani, and the siblings Facundo and Santiago Moreno. The company chooses the street as a poetic space for interaction between visual theatre, musical research and folklore. Since 2007, its performances have been presented at festivals across Europe, Latin America and Asia.
