‘Time Through a Hole’, by Aina Roca Mora, winning proposal of the 3rd IF Barcelona – Fira Mediterrània de Manresa Creation Call.

The winning proposal of the 3rd IF Barcelona – Fira Mediterrània de Manresa Creation Call, which supports projects in visual theatre, object theatre, and puppetry based on memory, heritage, and tradition, has been “El temps a través d’un forat” (Time Through a Hole) by Aina Roca Mora.
It is a stage exploration in which the model becomes the central axis of a visual and speculative dramaturgy, offering a delicate and playful gaze on the everyday, turning it into a stage for infinite possible realities.
With the aim of valuing the domestic space as a place of memory and imagination, the proposal travels through real spaces reconstructed from memory and childhood recollections: the grandparents’ cellar, the kitchen, the staircase to the attic.
The jury, composed of members of the Associació Interseccions and the Fundació Mediterrània, Fira d’Espectacles d’Arrel Tradicional, highlighted how the project, through models and objects, places space at the centre as an activator of stories and memories, emphasizing the potential of the places we inhabit and the multiple narratives they contain.
In addition to a financial grant of €6,000 for the creation and production of the performance, the project will also receive:
– a residency and inclusion in the next IF Barcelona 2026 programme.
– a residency and inclusion in the Obrador d’Arrel of Fira Mediterrània and in the official programme of Fira Mediterrània 2026.
– mentoring by Margarida Troguet during the curatorial and creative development process.
