Nov 3, 5, 8 and 21 | 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. | Mercat de les CortsParc de la Colònia CastellsPlaça Comas | Free |

ICC – La Caldera 30 Years + Festival IF Barcelona (hand in hand with Teatre Artesà), present Projecte Pregunta by Pedro Sepúlveda: a citizen participation project focused on the collective generation, visualization, and viralization of debates in public space, taking place in Les Corts. The project unfolds throughout the neighborhood and district, bringing creation methodologies and question-gathering processes closer to La Caldera and to dance on the occasion of its 30th anniversary.

Where and when?

This installative and participatory device will take shape through three durational sessions in three locations across the neighborhood: Plaça Comas, Parc de la Colònia Castells, and Mercat de les Corts, on November 3, 5, and 8 from 9 am to 4 pm.
On November 21, the project will culminate on the facade of La Caldera with a final public event featuring all participants — artists, students, and neighbors.

Pedro Sepúlveda is part of the multidisciplinary collective Mil M2, based in Santiago de Chile. The collective brings together six artists — Cecilia Moya, Maria-Jose Jana, Maria-Constança Carvajal, Pedro Sepúlveda, Fernando Portal, and Diego Cortés — from diverse fields such as performance, architecture, design, sculpture, graphic design, and critical urbanism. Since 2014, through Mil M2, they have developed artistic processes aimed at enabling civic and political debates in public spaces.

Projecte Pregunta is a sensitive tool that does not provide answers.

It explores doubt, questioning, inquiry, uncertainty, curiosity, mystery, hypothesis, the unknown, movement of thought, conjecture, possibility, presumption, imagination, probability, theory, suspicion, and enigma — embracing uncertainty as a creative and civic force.

Projecte Pregunta has no answer.

30th Anniversary of La Caldera

La Caldera celebrates its 30th anniversary together with allies such as IF Barcelona, expanding the body toward the future and hosting the Imaginative Choreographic Center (ICC), a nomadic program. This long-term international project (developed in collaboration with Teatre Artesà) focuses on processes of imaginative institutionalization in the field of choreography and dance. It is led by artists, mediators, and curators Aleksandar Georgiev, Darío Barreto, Zhana Pencheva, and Ida Daniel, alongside other national and international collaborators invited throughout the process.
