INSTRUCCIONS PER DESAPARÈIXER LENTAMENT, by Marga Socias and Nico Roig

A magical object appears. We do not know if it comes from the past or the future. It is said to hold the first memory of the beginning of time and the last image before collapse.

This scenic and sound action unfolds as an intuitive ritual, an imperfect invocation, somewhere between humor, irony, and—perhaps—some disguised truth. Time bends, repeats, and reinvents itself. We do not know what, but something is about to happen.

Marga Socias is a stage creator who combines her own works with collaborations with other companies. She has worked, among others, with Carte Blanche, Hello!Earth, and Art of Listening (Denmark), with TVAZZ (Faroe Islands), with Lis Lab (Italy), and with Théâtre À l’Envers (France). For several years, she was part of the stable cast of Teatre dels Sentits.

She has shared her teaching experience at the Master in Street Arts Creation (FiraTàrrega – University of Lleida), the Postgraduate in Poetics of the Senses (University of Girona – Teatre dels Sentits), and the Postgraduate in Scenographic Design (Elisava, University School of Design and Engineering). She has also been a guest lecturer in the Performing Arts degree at ERAM.

Nico Roig is a renowned musician, admired for his professionalism and creativity. Guitarist, composer, producer, and instrumentalist, he finds his freest side in songwriting and composition. He describes himself as an “early musician and late singer; I seek a root that connects me with something when I sing, write, or compose.”

With influences such as Caetano Veloso, Albert Pla, and Sufjan Stevens, he builds a unique voice within a singular universe. His latest album, Esto frío no vale nada, features collaborations with artists like Sílvia Pérez Cruz, Rita Payés, Lucia Fumero, Alessio Arena, Pol Batlle, and other exceptional instrumentalists who brought the work to life.
