As part of his residency at Graner, and in collaboration with the IF Barcelona festival, the artist presents various actions around his practice Somatic Technologies.

He will open a session of his practice to anyone interested. This working session will explore the experimentation of concepts, techniques, and exercises to guide and refine perception, aiming to understand the relationships between physical sensations and the languages we use, between the body, its materiality, and the processes that mediate our awareness of it.

Javier Martín is the 2025 Graner resident artist in the Practical Methodologies category. Throughout the year, his residencies and laboratories extend in collaboration with various institutions, festivals, and cultural and social agents across Catalonia, with particular attention to the city of Barcelona.
