Programme 2025

TRIA FATA, by Cia. La Pendue

She is a puppeteer, he is a musician, and in their cabaret, life and death are at stake.

With the poetics of burlesque and cabaret, La Pendue confronts the audience with death through a dramaturgy structured like a Russian doll: within the life of the old lady beats the lives of the performers, and vice versa, making the puppet a universal symbol of the human condition.

Awarded Best Show and the International Jury Prize at the Fira de Titelles de Lleida, as well as the Silver Ball of the Three Balls jury at the Sur la route du Sirque festival (Nexon).

Founded in 2003 in Grenoble, France, by Estelle Charlier and Romuald Collinet, alumni of the École Supérieure Nationale des Arts de la Marionnette de Charleville-Mézières (1999–2002), La Pendue is a company of theater, puppets, and sensitive metaphors. Managed by the Théâtre de l’Homme Ridicule Association, they have built their own workshop, atanor, and rehearsal space on the hills of Grenoble.
