Barrejant art esc\u00e8nic i realitat virtual, les seves instal\u00b7lacions alteren els conceptes de representaci\u00f3 i la percepci\u00f3 mateixa de la realitat, plantegen la hip\u00f2tesi de com seria el m\u00f3n si realment pogu\u00e9ssim veure-hi a trav\u00e9s dels ulls de l\u2019altre. Tecnologia, neuropsicologia i art en un dispositiu que ha obtingut un reconeixement mundial.<\/p>\n<p><strong>IF:<\/strong> Com funcionar\u00e0 el dispositiu a Arts Santa M\u00f2nica?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Daniel Gonz\u00e1lez:<\/strong> Els que participen a les instal\u00b7lacions de <em>La M\u00e0quina de ser un Altre <\/em>molt sovint acaben abra\u00e7ant-se, realment connecten amb l\u2019experi\u00e8ncia de l\u2019altre, per\u00f2 aix\u00f2 t\u00e9 les limitacions de l\u2019escenari en viu, es fa per a un nombre molt redu\u00eft de persones. Amb <em>Library of Ourselves<\/em> (la <em>Biblioteca de nosaltres<\/em>), esperem trobar la manera de convertir aquest acte en una acci\u00f3 col\u00b7lectiva, amb l\u2019aportaci\u00f3 de comunitats de persones, per exemple amb risc d\u2019exclusi\u00f3 social o altres tipus de grups. Juntament amb aquests col\u00b7lectius, es gravar\u00e0 una s\u00e8rie de narracions que despr\u00e9s seran reprodu\u00efdes per als assistents mitjan\u00e7ant la tecnologia de BeAnotherLab, de manera que tindr\u00e0 la modalitat de biblioteca d\u2019experi\u00e8ncies. Aix\u00ed, crearan una base de dades amb diverses persones de la comunitat que volen col\u00b7laborar i tornar la seva hist\u00f2ria, la seva narrativa, la hist\u00f2ria personal, a la resta de la comunitat perqu\u00e8 la coneguin. No intervindrem \u00fanicament en l\u2019execuci\u00f3 o en la producci\u00f3, sin\u00f3 que volem que es cre\u00ef un organisme en qu\u00e8 la persona que vegi les narratives que estem enregistrant realment tingui la sensaci\u00f3 que pot sentir els pensaments de l\u2019altre.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Arthur Pointeau:<\/strong> B\u00e0sicament, la nostra instal\u00b7laci\u00f3 consisteix a convidar la persona a posar-se una c\u00e0mera al front i seguir una s\u00e8rie de regles, com ara moure el cap lentament o seguir unes instruccions senzilles. De vegades tamb\u00e9 podem rec\u00f3rrer al tacte introduint alguns objectes o provocar la interacci\u00f3 amb altres persones que tamb\u00e9 s\u00f3n dins del mateix espai virtual. Amb la <em>Biblioteca de nosaltres<\/em>, el que fem \u00e9s que l\u2019espectador vegi uns v\u00eddeos pregravats en qu\u00e8 unes altres persones han volgut compartir una narrativa personal des del seu propi punt de vista.<\/p>\n<p><strong>IF:<\/strong> Ara \u00e9s m\u00e9s teatral?<\/p>\n<p>Daniel Gonz\u00e1lez: Com a principi, treballem des les arts esc\u00e8niques amb el concepte de teatre immersiu. La t\u00e8cnica de l\u2019<em>embodiment<\/em> permet crear la il\u00b7lusi\u00f3 de veure\u2019s i sentir-se en el cos d\u2019un altre, i aix\u00f2 t\u00e9 un potencial dramat\u00fargic molt gran.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Arthur Pointeau:<\/strong> Aquest dispositiu va comen\u00e7ar com a recerca art\u00edstica amb una resid\u00e8ncia a L\u2019Estruch, a Sabadell. Tal com estava dissenyat, la m\u00e0quina permetia generar una experi\u00e8ncia en temps real sincronitzant moviments i gestos. M\u00e9s endavant vam incorporar la t\u00e8cnica del <em>gender swap<\/em>, o intercanvi de g\u00e8nere, que vam anomenar <em>body swap<\/em>. Vam crear una coreografia en qu\u00e8 mov\u00edem els usuaris al mateix temps, els toc\u00e0vem les mans, etc. Per generar sensacions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Daniel Gonz\u00e1lez:<\/strong> Ara \u00e9s el moment d\u2019escalar aquesta experi\u00e8ncia. El que veuran els usuaris ser\u00e0 material enresitrat pr\u00e8viament que consultaran com si fos una biblioteca i cadasc\u00fa podr\u00e0 reflectir-se en la narraci\u00f3 de l\u2019altre.
