This year, we will hold two sessions of the DAS Theatre Feedback Method, guided by Antic Teatre, which is applying this methodology in our environment with IF Barcelona’s resident artists, Pepe Seguí and Javiera Gazitua.

The Feedback Method, conceived in 2010 at DAS Arts under the direction of Barbara Van Lindt, in collaboration with Siegmar Zacharias, Karim Benammar, and the staff and participants of the master’s programme, is a discursive tool for dialogue about interdisciplinary artistic practices. Inspired by philosophical practices such as the Socratic dialogue, this method aims to empower creators during their artistic creation processes, providing them with tools and questions to continue developing their work.

The workshop is presented as an exercise in collective thought and reflection on specific stage pieces. Each participant in the workshop and practical sessions is invited to activate their knowledge and professional experience in a structured way. Throughout the workshop, participants will explore the formats and phases of the method, followed by practical feedback sessions, each dedicated to an individual or collaborative artistic practice.
