El temps a través d’un forat (Time Through a Hole) is a visual theatre piece, winner of the IF Barcelona – Fira Mediterrània de Manresa 2025 open call. Through the use of scale models, it explores the reconstruction of three spaces through memory.

In this stage-based exploration, the model becomes the central element of a visual and speculative dramaturgy, inviting a delicate and playful perspective on everyday life. The work seeks to highlight the domestic space as a place that activates the imagination, travelling through real spaces —such as the grandparents’ cellar, the kitchen or the staircase leading to the attic—, but reconstructed through memory.

Aina Roca Mora graduated in Architecture from UdG (Girona) in 2016 and holds a Master’s degree in Scenography from HKU (Utrecht). Since 2020, her practice has developed across architecture, experimental research, teaching and performance-making. She is currently pursuing a PhD at BAU/UVic-UCC, where she researches tools that can reveal latent qualities of the spaces we inhabit. Her professional practice focuses on exploring space as a catalyst for narratives, using the scale model as her main research tool. Since 2024, she has been an associate lecturer at BAU – Centre Universitari d’Arts i Disseny de Barcelona and has been a guest lecturer at UB – Disseny and HKU – Utrecht, within the Design Department and the Master’s programme in Scenography. She is co-founder of the object theatre group ellipsis.nu, together with Elsa van der Linden and Cecilia Berghall.

Elsa van der Linder graduated from HKU in 2028 with a degree in Musician 3.0 and, in 2021, with a Master’s degree in Scenography from the same university. As a creator and performer, she explores how to capture “the moment”. She uses improvisation as a tool to interact with what is already present. Her tenor saxophone, the space and the moment itself act as co-performers. In the present — listening to what is already there — unexpected sonic worlds can emerge. Her work is driven by a fascination with how we listen. She explores how sound and space shape experience, and how the act of listening can evoke a narrative in its own right. As co-founder of Stichting BUI (Bevordering Utrechtse Improvisatie), she initiates and organises musical performances and interdisciplinary collaborations with a collective of young creators. They work from ONDERBUIK, a creative music centre located in a former atomic bunker at Fort Lunet I in Utrecht, where she also works and experiments with sound.

Steff Geelen is a writer and creator with a background in sociology. They write prose, poetry, non-fiction and theatre. They also create interdisciplinary works and performances. They draw inspiration from fantasy, magical realism and horror to explore physicality, metamorphosis and the individual versus the collective. In 2023, Wintertuin Uitgeverij published their book De scheidingen (The Divisions), in which they unfold worlds that resemble our own, but where magical metamorphoses disrupt the lives of the characters. Steff is part of Wintertuin’s talent development programme.
