Mila Ercoli

Si fos una pel·lícula (If It Were a Film; winner of the «Most Innovative Show» award at Fira de Titelles de Lleida 2026) explores the possibilities of sound in cinema as a way of rethinking theatrical performance. Sound can dramatise, fictionalise or give new meaning to the images it accompanies; it can create a sense of strangeness, evoke humour or become a metaphor, moving between the plausible and the unreal. This layering of narrative elements — sound associated with cinema and the live stage — reveals the potential of both: sound as a source of limitless possibilities, and the stage with its infinite language of representation.

Macarena Recuerda Shepherd trained in performing arts, theatre and dance. Although she graduated from the Institut del Teatre, her main interest lies in participatory projects that seek to create new ways of engaging with art. Since 2012, her work has focused on the role of the spectator, inventing new spaces for playing, creating and thinking together. This research unfolds along two strands: one centred on stage language and the other on participatory and educational spaces.
